The location was fantastic. We were going to a sports event during the hectic rugby world cup time in new Zealand, we could not believe our luck that this excellent hotel was still available and for a reasonable price given the amazing location, literally, across from gate a of the stadium. Because of the sell out event, the roads around the hotel were closed a few hours before the game, and well before the stipulated check in time of 2pm. The staff were amazingly accommodating, having our rooms ready for us by lunch time,so our cars could be parked up before the roads were closed, which was really appreciated given we had a 2 year old and an infant, in pouring rain. The hotel was plush, and modern, and we were able to watch the festivities on the street from our window. Great.

location was fantastic considering we were in Auckland for the rugby world cup, eden park is literally across the street. train station just across the road for access to city; the room was really good too, simple and basic layout but well thought out with everything we needed available. Hilton (the owner) was great, really friendly and approachable, he made the effort to make our stay comfortable
rates were a bit pricey but i guess we were paying a high premium for the world cup.
